On April 1, 2023, MCG Headquarter in Abuja, Nigeria, GMD led the team to welcome Prof. Han from CNPC Kunlun Smart Co., Ltd., Prof. Han was the Chief Expert of Oilfield Development of China National Petroleum Corporation, Director of the Research Institute of Exploration and Development of China National Petroleum Corporation, and Chief Project Engineer of CNPC Abu Dhabi Project.

In July 2021, MCG Corporation and CNPC Kunlun Smart Co., Ltd. established a strategic partnership. As the leading petroleum technology expert dispatched by Kunlun Smart, Prof.  Han has paid visits to MCG Headquarter and conducted technical guidance and trainings.

During Prof. Han is in Nigeria, he has carried out an in-depth research and analysis on the current situation, market situation, and business opportunities in Nigeria's oil and gas industry. Based on CNPC's resources, he presented the report "Nigeria-China Trade Status and Opportunities".

On that day, MCG team, representatives from CNPC and Changguang Satellite attended to the lecture by Prof. Han to his valuable insight on the current state of Nigeria's oil and gas industry, as well as opportunities for Sino-Nigerian oil and gas cooperation at MCG Abuja Headquarter.

As to MCG, this is a new and iconic training model. Utilizing the weekends outside of regular work hours, this creates an environment that fosters personal growth and enhances critical thinking skills. By setting up a salon for exchanging ideas and brainstorming, participants can exchange information, discuss issues, inspire each other, and trigger inspiration to generate new ideas and solutions.

The MCG weekend salon aims to capacity building through communication and team building through learning, with a goal to create a learning-oriented team that is capable to overcome challenges and to seize opportunities.
