AS part of our corporate social responsibility of giving back to society, Mutual Commitment Nigeria Limited has donated books and other writing materials to 12 schools within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
Our team which also visited six hospitals in the FCT, made cash donations to indigent patients who could not afford the bills for their medical treatments.
Executive Director, Mr. Charles Liu said the program is a way of giving back to society and improving the quality of lives of communities.
He further said the project is aimed at supporting government’s efforts at providing quality education to its people and help poor families in achieving their aims of acquiring education and health care. He assured that the exercise would be extended to other states across the country.
The three day tour also took the team to other schools including LEA Maitama, LEA Wuse 11, LEA Wuse Zone 6, LEA Kurudima, LEA Kubwa, LEA Karu, FHA Community School, Jikwoi, LEA Jabi, LEA Utako and LEA Nyanya. Other hospitals visited included Garki Hospital, Nyanya Hospital, Kubwa Hospital and Karu Hospital.
The MCNL’s 2013 corporate social responsibility project was dedicated to the First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan to commiserate with her over the death of her foster mother, Madam Charity Iwari Oba.
