On July 1, 2024, the Communist Party of China will celebrate its 103rd anniversary. To carry forward the great spirit of Party building and unite the strength to forge ahead, MCG organized a spring outing activity titled "Welcoming the Party's Birthday and Revisiting Abuja's Water Source" and held a symposium. More than 30 participants, including representatives of Party members, staff, and cooperative units, attended the event.

MCG celebrates the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China

On the morning of June 30th, the MCG motorcade set out for Usuma Dam, the water source of Abuja. The group traveled along the winding roads of the reservoir, taking in the magnificent scenery of Abuja's water source. This revisit to Abuja's water source carries profound significance, serving as a reminder to appreciate the source of drinking water and to deeply remember and commemorate the birth of the Communist Party of China.

Tracing back to history, the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China was held in Shanghai in July 1921. However, on July 30th, the meeting was abruptly interrupted due to the intrusion of spies. To ensure the completion of the party's program and resolutions, the representatives, following the suggestion of Li Da's wife, relocated to a pleasure boat on South Lake in Jiaxing. There, they continued and completed the congress's agenda. This boat, subsequently recorded in history as the "Red Ship," witnessed the birth of the Communist Party of China.

On the day of the event, a fish release activity was also held on site. Members gently put little fish into the water, entrusting their wishes and blessings for a better future.

A symposium on the theme of the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China was held at the headquarters of MCG.

Great achievements can be realized only through the continuous passing of the torch from one generation to the next. On the afternoon of the same day, a symposium themed around the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China was held at the headquarters of MCG. In his speech, Mr. Liu reviewed the 103-year history of the Communist Party of China. He emphasized that, despite being a century-old, the Party remains in its prime. Over the past hundred years, the Party has closely united with and relied on the people, overcoming countless difficulties and challenges, achieving brilliant victories, and writing a remarkable chapter in the history of the Chinese nation's development.

He emphasized, "The key to the Communist Party's remarkable achievements lies in our rigorous organization, strict discipline, and strong execution capabilities, setting us apart from other political parties. Additionally, our commitment to continuous learning, especially in maintaining and strengthening our organizational structure and discipline, has been crucial."

He further elaborated that today's activity at the Abuja Reservoir exemplifies the Party's original aspiration and mission—benefiting and giving back to the local community. This event is a vivid demonstration of the Communist Party of China's principle of 'founding the party for the public and governing for the people.'

"As overseas Chinese," he continued, "we must remain dedicated to our roles, fulfill our duties, and actively integrate into and contribute to the local community. By acting as private ambassadors, we build bridges of friendship and cooperation. This is not only a profound expression of our love for the Party and our country but also a core belief that MCG has steadfastly upheld and practiced over the past decade."

Pei, a seasoned party member, shared his heartfelt thoughts: "Having joined the Party back in 1988, I take immense pride in the outstanding achievements of the Communist Party of China. In a world brimming with uncertainties and challenges, it is the Party that has provided us with a stable and peaceful living environment. My hope is for young comrades to draw closer to the Party, embrace and carry forward its noble traditions, and contribute their strength to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Here's to an even more brilliant future for the Communist Party of China!"

Hua Zhandong, representing China Railway 14th Bureau, remarked on the profound significance of today's event. "In just a few decades, the Communist Party of China has led our nation of 1.4 billion people out of the grips of poverty—an unprecedented achievement on the global stage. China is built on the foundation of countless warm, dedicated families. Each person works diligently in their own role and takes good care of their family, which reflects the most sincere love and dedication to the Party and the country.

I extend my heartfelt wishes to all our friends overseas: may you find success in your work and happiness in your lives. Continue to embody the deep meaning of loving the Party and our country in your unique ways."

In his impassioned speech, Zhang Lun celebrated the remarkable achievements of the Communist Party of China and expressed his aspiration to join its esteemed ranks. He highlighted the unprecedented global changes this year, contrasting them with our homeland's unwavering stability and progress—a steadfast anchor providing peace and security for millions.

He concluded with a heartfelt wish: "Under the steadfast leadership of the great Communist Party of China, may our homeland forge ahead to an even more brilliant future, continuing to script the grand narrative of national rejuvenation."

In a stirring address, Peng Yongtao, an eager applicant for Party membership, praised the Communist Party of China as the world's most successful "entrepreneurial team," achieving remarkable feats through relentless struggle. Reflecting with fervor, he stated, "Each of us here reaps the rewards of the Party's efforts. Without the Communist Party, there would be no new China. Today, thanks to our homeland's unwavering support, we pursue our careers in distant Africa. I aspire to become a true member of the Communist Party and dedicate myself to its noble cause."

Guo Yunbo expressed that for Chinese working abroad, the Party and the country serve as our unwavering support, providing us with confidence and strength. He attributed the Communist Party's remarkable growth to its steadfast convictions and relentless pursuit of excellence. Similarly, our company embodies deep-seated beliefs that motivate every member to excel on this platform and contribute their expertise and vigor.He concluded with a heartfelt wish: "Here's to our company's future prosperity and even greater accomplishments ahead!"

Wang Feilong delved into the historical and cultural dimensions of the Communist Party of China's development, highlighting its role as the vanguard guiding China's progress. He emphasized that the Party encapsulates the essence of Chinese civilization and embodies the spirit of the times. Under its leadership, China has achieved remarkable successes across various domains, showcasing its prosperity and dynamic growth on the global stage.

He noted that these achievements not only serve as a stellar example internationally but also bolster confidence and pride in our overseas business negotiations. The Party's forward-thinking, people-centric governance philosophy has tangibly improved the well-being of its citizens, fostering a sense of warmth and strength that inspires and uplifts us all.

During the symposium, each participant took the floor, passionately sharing their reflections on the 103rd anniversary of the Communist Party of China's founding.
