Plans have been unveiled for a 1,600-kilometer coast road in southern China linking 14 cities and 90 tourist attractions.
Starting in Fujian province's Zhaoan county, the road will extend west and finish in Hepu county, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.
The road, part of Guangdong's 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-20), is expected to be world's longest coast road, overtaking California's Route 1 in the United States and Highway 1 in Australia.
