CHINA TO FURTHER PROMOTE NON-FOSSIL FUEL ENERGY

China, which already has the world's largest installed capacity of wind and solar power, should continue decreasing its reliance on coal and increasing investments in clean energy toward a low-carbon world, said Lin Boqiang, director of the China Center for Energy Economics Research at Xiamen University, during the World Economic Forum's Annual Meeting of the New Champions 2018, or Summer Davos Forum, in Tianjin.
