On October 27th,2022, the Group Managing Director（GMD）visited Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA).
The Managing Director, Professor ADESOJI ADESUGBA, of NEPZA welcomed the GMD and team members of MCG at Head Quarter in Maitama, Abuja.
Prof. ADESOJI used to be a student of Beijing Normal University and has been promoting relationship between China and Nigeria since 1980s, he is also one of the foreign experts that witnessed the development and change of China.
During the meeting, Prof. ADESOJI reviewed the progress of the ongoing projects and called on MCG to bring more investors to Nigeria and assured all necessary support from NEPZA.
GMD appreciated Prof. ADESOJI's understanding and support in the partnership between NEPZA and MCG, and also appreciated his efforts on promoting business and relationship between China and Nigeria. GMD assured the quality and timely delivery of ongoing power project and promised to promote more investments and deepen cooperation.
Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA) establishes, licensed, regulates and operates highly efficient Free Zones by providing a highly competitive incentive scheme, excellent support facilities and service for the purpose of creating an enabling environment for export manufacture and other commercial activities.
NEPZA is the major driver of Government’s initiative to diversify the Nigerian economy. With attractive investment packages and a focus on economy-driven sectors, NEPZA provides investment opportunities in different sectors across the country. Up to now, NEPZA has 40 free zones and 580 free zone enterprises.
