On March 17th, 2023, Mr. Johson Zhu visited the ABIA State governor-elect, Dr. Alex, on behalf of MCG.

ABIA State is located in the southeast of Nigeria, it is a first-level administrative division, and comprises of 17 local government areas. The state is rich in oil and gas resources, as well as mineral resources such as coal, lead, zinc, and clay. It boasts of convenient transportation, well-developed education system, and attractive tourist destinations.

Governor-elect Dr. Alex, a member of the Labour Party, was successfully elected as the next governor in March of this year.

On the meeting, Mr. Johson Zhu congratulated the governor-elect, Dr. Alex, on behalf of MCG, introduced the development history and business areas of MCG in Nigeria. Hoping to bring more development to the state, both parties discussed people's livelihood projects and infrastructure construction.
