On January 11, 2024, at 13:30 Beijing time, the "Lianxin
Yingda-1" was successfully launched using the "Graviton-1"
commercial launch vehicle in the sea near Haiyang, Shandong. This marks another
achievement in the skies, following the launch of " Lianxin Yingda
-1" ("Jilin-1" GF-04B satellite) from the Jiuquan Satellite
Launch Center in September 2023!
The "Lianxin
Yingda -1" satellite (Cloud Remote Sensing-18) is a new generation
meteorological remote sensing satellite jointly developed by Chang Guang
Satellite Technology Co., Ltd.,MCC, and Tianjin Cloud Remote Sensing Aerospace
Co., Ltd. It is capable of providing users with high-resolution remote sensing
imagery products. This satellite is designed to offer richer remote sensing
data and product services in various fields such as agricultural development,
weather monitoring, disaster management, land surveying, smart city television
broadcasting, and internet access.
The
"Graviton-1" rocket launched this time is China's largest private
commercial launch vehicle. It adopts a fully solid and bundled design, making
it the world's most powerful solid-fuel launch vehicle currently available.
During its maiden flight, it successfully employed the challenging maritime
launch method, breaking multiple records.
With the
successful launch of " Lianxin Yingda-1," we embark on a new year in
2024, filled with boundless possibilities and a fresh landscape. In this year,
we aim to forge even closer partnerships with our allies, facing future opportunities and challenges with unwavering confidence. Together, we will work
diligently, strengthen our resolve, explore new collaborative opportunities
with more outstanding enterprises, deepen cooperation in the aerospace field,
and contribute to the joint development of the "Belt and Road"
initiative!
Finally,
heartfelt thanks to every colleague and family member who silently contributed
to the tranquility of the years.
