Vice Minister Chen Xiaohua and Mam Am Not, the visiting State Secretary of Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of the Kingdom of Cambodia co-chaired the China-Cambodia Agricultural Cooperation Working Group Meeting in Beijing on June 18, 2015.

The two sides expressed satisfaction with the progress of China-Cambodia agricultural cooperation since 2013, and achieved broad consensus on improving mechanisms, enhancing high-level exchange visits, promoting science and technology exchanges and capacity building, strengthening investment cooperation, facilitating agricultural trade, and intensifying communication and coordination of bilateral and multilateral policies.

During the meeting, Vice Minister Chen Xiaohua elaborated President Xi’s “One Belt, One Road” strategic initiative. Mam Am Not expressed his sincere wishes to step up agricultural cooperation with China under the “One Belt, One Road” framework.
