SOLAR POWERED BOREHOLE PROJECT IN JIGAWA STATE COMPLETED AND COMMISSIONED

MCNL has recently completed a Solar Powered Borehole and Water Supply System in Jigawa State. With this solar powered uninterrupted and fully automatic system, the local people’s living and irrigation needs have ultimately been met for the first time in their life. Constant fresh water is pumped from the over 50m deep borehole and lifted to the 10000 litre storage tank every day. The living conditions of the local villagers have now been drastically heightened.
