Part 4 The principles to bulid a grain warehouse
The five principles are as follows:
Principle 1 Durable.
Grain warehouse should be able to withstand the pressure of the side walls of the warehouse and the total pressure of the warehouse at the end, to prevent cracking, subsidence.
Principle 2 Moisture-proof
Warehouse wall, wall to floor are usually most likely to cause food damp moldy area. Therefore warehouse site should be chosen in the lower groundwater levels, foundation dry, smooth drainage around the place, warehouse floor is generally higher than the positions of the mainland. Warehouse wall, floor and roof laying moisture-proof material.
Principle 3 Insulation
WAREHOUSE heat into the outside world level is the main way compartment. Hence the need for additional roof insulation layer or additional roof to increase insulation properties.
For artificial refrigeration warehouse, is often insulated building envelope calculation based on the design cooling load and thermal resistance.
Principle 4 Ventilation
Ventilation problems in the general multi-room position by setting the opening and closing windows and in a timely manner to resolve.
Principle 5 Airtight
When using hypoxia, nitrogen or high carbon dioxide atmosphere storage, warehouse requires sufficient tightness to maintain effective concentration and the ratio of the gas within the warehouse
